The Batting We Use
We use batting from Quilters Dream because we have found it's quality and durability meet the needs of long arm machine quilting. It is delivered on long rolls that mount directly to our machine. There are advantages to your using our batting:

Our prices are very reasonable Quilters Dream Cotton starts with the finest USA cotton and is carded, crosslapped and specially needlepunched. 100% natural and environmentally friendly, this batting proudly bears Cotton Incorporated’s seal. The special process prevents shifting and lumping. It has a very high thermal value (R=3.8) warm yet light. Stitching up to 8" apart allows quilters wonderful freedom of design. Needles (by machine and hand) glide smoothly through the fine, consistent, even webbing. The finished quilt may be machine washed and dried. Shrinkage is minimal. It drapes beautifully, giving a traditional look and feel to your quilt. Like yesteryear’s treasured quilts of cotton, your quilts of today deserve the very best. Midnight Dream Poly is a true black batting, excellent for rich colored fabrics. The select loft is a perfect mid-loft for hand and machine quilting, both long arm and short arm. The blend of fine denier black microfibers imparts a lovely soft hand and exceptional drape to this unique batting. Midnight Dream is specially needlepunched for strength and does not contain stiff scrim or resins. Midnight Dream Poly resists bunching and shifting and is strong enough to stitch up to 8" apart, allowing the quilter more freedom of design. It is also excellent for tied quilts. Prewashing is not recommended. Midnight Dreams is colorfast (not dyed - the fiber is black) so you can gently machine wash and dry your finished quilt.
